Assalamualaikum and greetings to all. Following two years of turbulence and uncertainty, it is an honour for me to put together
this year’s NAHFAS 2022. With the theme “Breath in the Endemic Era,” it is only fitting that we organise the country’s largest heart
failure seminar in the grandest of manors. Our team has ensured that this year’s NAHFAS will bring together great and passionate
minds in the care of heart failure to discuss and disseminate knowledge regarding cutting edge information related to heart failure.
We will be fully physical this year, and aiming for the largest NAHFAS attendance to date.
This year’s NAHFAS not only targets people working in the hospital setting but also aims to bring together healthcare professionals
from the primary and public health sectors. As many of us know, heart failure not only impacts patients physically but also
socio-economically. Therefore, it is imperative that we work together as a team from both sides of the spectrum to deliver holistic
care to our patients in every way possible.
As we work to improve our patients’ care and quality of life, it is critical that we collaborate and share the most recent information
and technology in heart failure care. NAHFAS 2022 not only aims to cover the fundamentals of heart failure, but also to push the
boundaries of advanced heart failure care, and we have a fantastic lineup of speakers to cover all of these topics, both local and
international. All of whom are at the cutting edge of their respective fields and are deeply committed to their craft and expertise.
This year’s NAHFAS would not be possible without the great teamwork by the staff of Hospital Serdang, our secretariat, and also
our sponsors. It is therefore with great humility and gratitude that I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in
